Seriously, some phrases are shooting yourself in the foot:
❌ “I have a dog, but it won’t be a problem, I promise” Better: Ask upfront if pets are OK
❌ “Planning to stay a year, maybe longer, maybe shorter” Better: Be specific – landlord plans too
❌ “Hmm, bit expensive for this condition” Better: If you want to negotiate, do it after viewing
❌ “I sometimes have loud parties, but neighbors will get used to it” Better: Just don’t say this 😅
❌ “I can pay rent when my salary comes” Better: Show you’re reliable – fixed payment date
✅ WHAT TO SAY:
- Who you are, what you do
- Why you’re looking for this type of apartment
- That you’re looking for long-term (if true)
- That you’re a quiet tenant
Remember: landlord is also evaluating you, not just you the apartment!
